Interesting words you should know

We read newspapers, novels and academic textbooks. Sometimes a few here and there esoteric words seem difficult to understand. We have dictionaries at home and mobile phones but we cannot learn all of them. We need to google search some interesting words. Here they are!
These words apply to our day-to-day lives. Check out if you know them all.

Ambidextrous: skilled to use both hands effectively ( those street vendors, seen them working effectively using both hands saving time!!??)

Countenances: faces/visages(its just another word to your vocab)

Salubrious: healthy(reminds me of an Apple)

Plumage: bird's feathers(reminds me of parrot's beautiful green feathers)

Rhapsody: express oneself enthusiastically (those noisy girls who talk about everything they do,they go through)

Olfactory: refers to sense of smell (a dog's nose-very strong olfactory senses)

Pontifical: express one's opinion in a way so as to declare that it is undeniable, a very stubborn person with his own views. (your neighborhood uncle ;) )

Pertinent: appropriate (Did you get what you searched for? a pertinent blog or not?)

Mollycoddled: spoiled or pampered (those rich brats we hear about in news..yeah..those lucky ones :P)

Blackballed: reject/bar/ban (when you block some1 annoying on Whatsapp..blackballed yeh!)

Beseech: plead/request/pray (just before exam and then before exam result)

Sacrosanct : a thing/task/work too important or valuable to interfered with


 Easy but less known words. Enjoy! happy vocabulary building...!
