Hello folks, Its been a long time since I updated this blog but that was because I was busy working with some ideas. I have come up with some really cool stuff. I bought some nice high quality left overs from various shops around in Mumbai and I decided to do something about it. Since these pieces of material are not very long and are of different lengths I decided to make something which can accommodate these materials. They are the material which are used for curtain making, sofa making and cover making and these are strong and of a very good quality. They have various patterns from Indian traditional style to very very simple and basic. So I bought some matching colored plain material for them to go with and I came up with Floor Rugs/Mats. Our very own Xmas creation! Christmas is here and I have a very exciting project to share with you. Remember how we collected all the waste available in the house and make something fun out of it? This is exactly what I did this Christmas but with a twist. This time I went outside and collected some tree branches, dried flowers and bird feathers. The result was amazing. Everytime I make something out of waste it makes me happy. This time it was more fun because it was my friend who made me do all this and helped me ideate and create this beautiful Xmas tree. Its so much better and easier when you work with equally enthusiastic person. So without wasting much of your time, here I show you how to make this...... Hello, all I am back with a new DIY project. With all the waste that i collect i tend to make something for storage purpose. This time again i have a storage box made for my earrings and combs. Here it is...

Here i had a spaghetti which was plain white and worn out badly. I gave it a 'space' look. My sister helped me out in the whole process.  Here is how i converted into a wearable top. I selected  three colors. Then i put tapes as shown in the pic below to make a striped top. I used sponge to color all over the top. This was the initial look. Then I put silver on the white stripes. I tied knots on the back to give a cool look. I made my sister my model and made her wear it and pose for the photos. We decided to adore with it a golden chain which looked awesome.
